Ingredients

  • 1 (8 pc) canned crescent rolls or biscuits
  • 1 8 oz jarred pizza sauce
  • 1 lb pork sausage or ground beef or diced ham (or all three if you're a meat lover 😃 ) raw meats cooked and drained
  • 1 3 oz package sliced pepperoni
  • 2 cups 2 cups shredded mozzarella or Italian cheese blend
  • Optional - diced onions, sliced mushrooms, sliced/diced black olives, etc.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with organic EVOO or avocado oil.
  • Pour sauce into a medium-sized bowl and stir in browned & drained sausage or ground beef or diced ham.
  • Leaving the crescent rolls rolled up the way they came out of the can, use clean kitchen shears to cut off small chunks of raw dough into the bowl of meat and sauce.
  • Stir to coat then spread out into baking dish.
  • Top with optional toppings, pepperoni, and cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until crescent rolls are bubbled up and lightly browned, cheese is melted, and sauce is bubbly around the edges.
  • If you don't like things so ooey gooey, bake it until the rolls are browner.
  • Remove from oven and let sit for a few minutes then cut into squares or just scoop portions out with a large spoon.
