Maple Glazed Pumpkin Spice Donuts

This one for Maple Glazed Pumpkin Spice Donuts is brought to you by Norma, my dear friend and MHS classmate! Normally I don’t post recipes that are not my own or those of my guest contributors. However, we’d all like to know if those amazing videos and pics scrolling down the facebook newsfeed are as good as they appear. So on occasion,  we’ll  post one that’s not over the top complicated and really looks appealing!

Maple Glazed Pumpkin Spiced Donuts | Culinary Craftiness

Norma made these pumpkin spice donuts from the recipe she found at Amanda’s Cookin’. She said, “They’re pretty darn good!” I’d give just about anything to take a big bite, but I can’t reach them. They’re about 900 miles away though! Since this is the season for all things pumpkin spice, let’s recap some of the other awesome autumn delights on CC. 🍁🍂

Keto Pumpkin Pie Crunch

The carb and calorie counts aren’t as low as we’d like, but at least you can have a piece without feeling too guilty. It’s a fabulous taste of autumn on a diet!

Low Carb Crustless Mini Pumpkin Pies

The original version of this sweet little bite of pie is further down in this post. Thankfully, whipped cream is super low carb and keto! Therefore, pile it on without worry!

Pumpkin Pie Crunch

I love this stuff! One of my favoritest Thanksgiving desserts, it’s kind of like a crunchy pumpkin pie but better! No crust needed – it kind of makes its own. 😃

Browned Butter Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Oh my word, people! Have you ever had browned butter anything? You won’t believe how good it makes your house smell. 👃😋 Save the pumpkin seeds while carving up your Jack o’Lanterns for a fabulous fall treat!

Long Island Squash Soup

My most favorite fall delight of all! Better than McAlister’s or Panera Bread Co., this savory sweet soup tastes like heaven on a crisp, sunny autumn day. You can use other types of squash, such as butternut, but the Long Island variety makes the best!

Plymouth Plantation – The First Thanksgiving

Some really interesting history and recipes inside! For example, the Stewed “pompion” (pumpkin) sounds a little like the beginnings of my Long Island Squash Soup. 🥣

Halloween Food History

It’s not always all about the candy! Traditions are different around the world at autumn harvest feasts and festivals. So click (or tap) to see what my favorite Halloween meal is for pre-trick or treating!

Crustless Mini Pumpkin Pies

Okay, even though these are crust-less, they aren’t low carb or low calorie. My kids would leave a graveyard of uneaten pastry on their dessert plates so this is the perfect pie made with kids in mind!

Certainly, autumn is one of the most notable seasons for iconic foods. There are so many traditional delights, it’s no wonder people pack on a few extra pounds at this time of year. Football tailgating, weiner roasts, Halloween, and Thanksgiving are great fun for get-togethers with friends and family. Above all, enjoy the season; eat what makes you happy because life is short! However, if you’re trying to count your carbs or calories, try some of the new recipes made with stevia. Monk fruit sugar is the best zero calorie sweetener, in my opinion, but not as easy to find. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how good your traditional holiday favorites will taste.

Happy eating!
